The purpose of the Children's Liturgy of the Word is to promote more active participation and understanding by the children of the scripture readings of the weekend. It is celebrated at the Saturday 5:00PM Mass and the 9:30AM Sunday Mass each weekend, September through June. After the Introductory Rites, children (through Grade 5) with adult leaders are invited to move to the Parish Center for age appropriate scripture readings, reflections, songs, and prayers. At the Preparation of the Gifts, the children rejoin their families and the worshipping community. Parents’ help is very much needed! Contact Kathy Smith (508) 359-5817.
